While it may look complete, it's not. There are still small details to add, plus I need to finish the hooded cloak that will go with it.
I wanted the green clear parts to stand out from the rest of the build, which is why I didn't opt to buy the dark matter version of the kit, or recast them in a clear red resin.
The most difficult part of this kit, and still is, are the holsters on each side of the waist. I wanted to have 4 holsters total, one on each waist, and two on the rear skirt. However, the side holsters, were just too heavy when they each hold two of the long kunai, and thus they dip forward. I ran through several different types of holsters to try and fix this. I had some that I tried to put additional weight into the backends, but they would just drop completely vertical if they had only one kunai inside. I had some that had some plastic parts running along the bottoms of them, however, they just looked so bad. I even considered just taking some matched parts, and remaking them into the holsters, but then I would lose the cloth look, and would have to much bulk. so in the end I made these ones. They have a little extra weight in the back end, just enough to not end up vertical when half empty(or empty), but they can only hold one kunai a piece. however, they do hold one each of the weapons that were to be mounted in holsters on the rear skirt, which are a couple of daggers that have their handles inside the blade, instead of a traditional dagger, so that they can be used as a punching weapon in addition to a stabbing and slashing weapon. What i plan on doing is making holsters in the cloak to hold the other kunai.
The main weapon for this kit is a Hatchet like blade. The end of the blade juts backwards, with the top end being "sharp" and the "backend" being flat. This makes it so that it can still be used to stab with(though awkwardly), and/or as a catch, so as to pull it's target towards it. It can also be used as a pick.
My main focus with the kit was to give it an "off ninja" + "wicked" look. I omitted all of exia's traditional weapons, for ones I made to make it more unique. The only weapon it stil retains from the exia, are the GN vulcans in it's forearms.
When i finally finish it, I'll give the simulated details for the mobile suit.
